Cilantro, also known as coriander, is a slow-growing popular microgreen. It has a pungently sweet aroma and tastes a little like parsley.
Coriander
Description
Cilantro should be grown in soil. Many had tried using the hydroponic method with a nutrient solution— though it results in a low germination rate.
Some people suggest not to soak the seed for a better germination rate. As in my case, I found that pre-soaking the seeds a couple of hours before sowing work quite well for me. Even better, you can get yourself some cilantro split seeds. Anyway, try to experiment by running a few small tests.
Also, Cilantro prefers a cooler environment where the temperature is below 70 °F (21 °C).
